Carbon Tax Changes Effective April 14 2025
Please anticipate delays on rail as a result of tier restrictions this winter

British Columbia: Inbound delays may be expected due to highway closures as a result of weather, as well as inbound rail delays. Highway through Golden/Revelstoke will be closed through March 19 afternoon. Please anticipate delays.
Alberta: Delays may be anticipated in/out of BC/AB due weather and highway closures. Highway through Golden/Revelstoke will be closed through March 19 afternoon.
Saskatchewan: Nothing to report.
Manitoba: Nothing to report.
Ontario: Due to a major winter storm and highway closures in Northern Ontario and Eastern Quebec, please anticipate potential delays.
Quebec: Please note the predicted Spring Thaw dates for 2026 as indicated on the Quebec Transport website: https://www.transports.gouv.qc.ca/en/camionnage/degel-periode-restrictions-charges/Pages/periode-degel.aspx Due to a major winter storm in Northern Ontario and Eastern Quebec on March 16, please anticipate potential delays.
